Barbara Jones

Founder/CEO, Lillii RNB Inc. Barbara Jones is the Founder/CEO of The Lillii RNB Corporation, a mobile application and retail services company that offers a wide range of consulting services, including EMV/Chip Card, ORPOS/360Commerce, Oracle/Micros X-Store, payment device/certification testing, and custom POS enhancements. Prior to founding Lillii RNB, Barbara served as an SME and OracleRetail (ORPOS) consultant for companies such as Metra Commuter Rail, L.L. Bean, PayPal, Cox Communications, The Gap, Circuit City, Home Depot, and IBM. Earlier in her career, Barbara was a senior software designer for Oracle, and an EI Engineer for Motorola. Barbara holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Jim Scott

Director, Enterprise Strategy & Architecture, MapR Jim has held positions running Operations, Engineering, Architecture and QA teams. Jim is the cofounder of the Chicago Hadoop Users Group (CHUG), where he has coordinated the Chicago Hadoop community for the past 5 years. Jim has worked in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Digital Advertising, Digital Mapping, Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries. Jim has built systems that handle more than 50 billion transactions per day. Jim's work with high-throughput computing at Dow Chemical was a precursor to more standardized big data concepts like Hadoop.
